TD SOLUTIONS™.
A range of innovative equipment designed to reduce “NPT” and
help tubulars reach Total Depth (TD), often in challenging hole conditions
or high angle, ERD and horizontal wells which require torque & drag,
friction and casing wear reduction.
The TD SOLUTIONS™ range of products and services include:-
- DriveSHOE™. Closed-end conductor drive shoe which significantly reduces drive friction. Depending on formation, this allows the Conductor to be driven to TD, which has been up to 1,400ft in some cases, thus eliminating the environmental impact of seabed drill cuttings. Available in DrillTHRU™ or DriveTHRU™ designs for most conductor sizes.
- RotoTEC Friction Reducer®. Drill pipe deployed friction-reducing tools proven to eliminate casing wear over protected sections, and significantly reduce Torque and Drag. Through utilising RotoTEC® patented material & design combination to reduce drag, the effective WOB is increased resulting in an improved ROP and sliding capabilities in directional wells.
- SwivelMASTER™. Drill pipe deployed tool that allows the running string to be rotated independently, therefore reducing drag / friction and increasing available surface weight to push the SandScreen or Liner BHA to TD. It is also used when running sand control screens or other liners with accessories or weak connections that cannot be rotated without risk of damage. The tool can be activated to re-engage the torque drive below the tool if required for full string rotation or to facilitate release of third party running tools.
- BrunelCENTRALISER™ Ezee-Glider®2000. Engineered Polymer Thermoplastic Casing and Liner Centralisers. This patented technology significantly reduces manual handling and creates an effective downhole Axial/Radial bearing with friction coefficient of .12 or less. Field proven low friction, ultimate drag and rotational torque reduction and increased abrasion resistance ensures maximum stand-off at TD. This is now backed up by an impressive track record of over 200 Wells completed using the Ezee-Glider®2000 range of products and BOS Calc™ analysis tool.
- BridgeBUSTER® Casing Reaming Shoe. Range of best in class patented reaming shoes to aid casing/liner installation in potentially troublesome well conditions such as Bridging, Sloughing, Swelling, Ledging & Wash-outs, as well as increasing the potential for effective cementation. Its unique design also significantly reduces costly reamer shoe drill out times.
- SingleRUN™ Motor. In arduous
hole conditions the SingleRUN™ Motor is utilised to aid final
string casing/liner or sand screens installation. It provides drill-down
or drill-in capability without the need for complete string rotation.
This down-hole drilling motor is designed for a single run, yet retains
the key features of a performance drilling motor at significantly less
cost. The SingleRUN™ Motor removes the reliability risk associated
with utilising alternative “Refurbished” motors.
To provide further operational support to our clients, Caledus ® also provide :-
- Safe SingleDRIFTER™. Safe and efficient method to drift singles of drill pipe or other tubulars whilst lifting them to the rig floor from the catwalk or pipe deck.
- Conventional LinerHANGER™ Equipment. Extensive range of high specification designs and developments in standard liner hanger technology to run stand alone or in conjunction with SlimWELL® InFILLTM.
- Magnum and Well Sweep
Fishing Magnets. A range of highly effective fishing “super”
magnets designed to remove ferrous metal debris and junk from wells.
Wireline, drill pipe and tubing deployment adaptors available.
Our Engineering Team are continually developing client driven solutions, these New Technologies include:
- SideLOAD Sensor Sub™ A sub based tool used during drilling to record the sideload being exerted on the drill-string.
- RotationLESS Reaming Tool™ Ability to ream in casings/liners by pumping alone without the need for full string rotation.
- RotoSUB Friction Reducer™ A sub based version of the popular pipe deployed RotoTEC Friction Reducer®.
